Content in this book was banned from a college classroom—the same college classroom that required the reading of The Vagina Monologues. After reading Eve Ensler's play The Vagina Monologues Joe DiBuduo wanted to show a male's point of view. When he realized how reticent most men and even a college instructor were to talk about penises DiBuduo felt obligated to write his own attitude about the male appendage. Ensler wrote about woman being raped and female genital mutilation. In A Penis Manologue DiBuduo discusses how men are also mutilated and that every male could be a victim of rape. This is a book every man should read.
